I am not able to connect my email server from outlook express?
Okay this could be a few things...

Email Scanning from your anti virus...turn it off, dont worry you will still be protected..trust me, email scanning just catches the problem a step earlier...this is an unlikely cause though...

I do know what the problem is but its not good, you need to rename Outbox.dbx and my SentItems.dbx to whatever you feel like, then reboot your pc, you get a clean slate and it works. It is because one of those two files is corruputed, before you do that though you might want to clear up some of your messages, sometimes if people have a large Sent tray with over 400 sent items in it, then this error sometimes occurs. You might wanna try deleting some unwanted emails, and rebooting before you go renaming your files!! Good Luck!!

Telnet is a way that you can access someone else's computer IF they have set up permissions for you do to so.

ask your provider for

* the host name

*your user name

*your password

*any otherspecific instructions that the host requires.

there is a very simple,clearly illustrated help page here

I'm guessing you're using TELNET to check you mail remotely for work or study? Its much easier to try mail forwarding to another account or switch mail providers. Your administrator should have the best settings for you

Reply:it may not be pop forwarding
Reply:Your pop3 and smtp settings arent right. You will need to find these settings from you mail server. Go to their website and the info should be there. Check their support. When you find it, open outlook and click tools, accounts, mail, properties, and servers and put the correct info in.
