I am assigned to this project as my 4 sem MCA networking project. Can somebody guide me? I need to do it in JAVA.

Tons of options but I can't answer your questions specifically. Options for Java based e-mail are:





Columba http://columba.sourceforge.net/





Pooka http://www.suberic.net/pooka/





MailPuccino http://www.kingkongs.org/mailpuccino/





These are mail client options in Java. They're going to interface into your mail server in Linux or in Mail Puccino's case LDAP, etc for Microsoft Exchange. I like the last one.
