How do I change my email servers?

My outgoing and ingoing emails servers are set up wrong for pop.mail how do I change it?

Depends what you are using. Outlook Express and Outlook before 2007 are roughly this:





Open your email program.


From the menus across the top, choose Tools and then Accounts.


Click on the Mail tab.


Highlight your email account and then click Properties at the right hand side.


Click on the Servers tab.


If you also need to change the port numbers, next go to the Advanced tab.


Click OK and Close.





Outlook 2007:


Open Outlook.


Click on Tools and then Account Settings.


On the Email tab, highlight your email account and click Change... (just above).


If you then need port settings as well, click on the More Settings ... button.


Click the Advanced tab.


Click OK and then finish going through the Wizard by clicking Next.

Oh, by the way, you *did* sign into your email account online and activate POP mail forwarding?





In Yahoo, Options, POP access and forwarding. If you see a MailPlus link, you can't use POP unless you upgrade.
