my office computer is connected to a central server. i will be leaving my employment soon and i do not want anyone to be able to see the sites i have visited on company time or be able to retrieve deleted email. at the same time, i do not want to adversely affect programs installed by the company? i am no computer expert. how can i do it?
How can i erase email and visited sites from my computer without affecting programs or the office server?
That will require administrative rights to install a cleaner such as CCleaner. Unfortunately they already know where you've been if your system administrator is worth a salt, so it's really a waste of time.
Reply:in the top of your screen there should be a small search box if google is your home page it will be in the top left corner. then there should be a small down arrow it will say something about history. you want to click clear history. this will delete past sites on your computer that you have visited. to delete your emails go to inbox and check all of your emails there will be one box at the top where you can check all of them at once. then press delete. same goes for sent and drafts.
