Yahoo Mail: why do i get lastUnsupported error when getting email from External POP server?

i configured external mail to my yahoo account


when i try to "get mail" from this server I'm getting lastUnsupported error.


and POP client (like outlook) works fine


SMTP (sending) works fine even from Yahoo site.

i think its getting problem in yahoo beta...try the older version and see...it may work
Reply:Same issue here... trying to get Comcast email into Yahoo! mail. Tried in 'Classic' and Beta.





in Beta, got message box with 'lastUnsupported' message. in Classic, got error, "POP server does not support LAST command. You may only retrieve POP mail from this server using "get all messages"." Report Abuse

Reply:The real problem is not Yahoo Beta. It's in the settings for retrieving the external mail. You have to uncheck the box that says 'only retrieve new messages', or something like that. It's in the options area of Yahoo mail, in the settings for the external email address. Report Abuse
